I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
